Begin with the compressor, not a general oil name. Record the manufacturer, model, serial or equipment reference, compressor type, service location and the lubricant instruction from the current OEM manual. Copy the viscosity grade and any named specification exactly as written. If a requirement is missing, mark it for confirmation rather than selecting a grade from another compressor. Similar equipment can have different lubricant requirements because of its design, operating conditions or maintenance instructions.
Add the operating information that purchasing and technical review need: normal and maximum ambient conditions, typical operating hours, maintenance interval, previous product reference and any known issue that prompted the request. Keep the compressor lubricant separate from hydraulic, gear and engine oils on the request. A shared viscosity number or a familiar product name does not prove interchangeability. The equipment manual and the controlled document for the offered formulation remain the decision references.
The ALFA catalogue lists AirCore 32, 46, 68 and 100 as distinct request targets. AirCore 46 is recorded as compressor oil with a target ISO VG 46 viscosity. These catalogue names help identify the discussion; they do not establish OEM approval, compatibility, performance properties or availability for a particular compressor. State one exact target grade per line, the estimated fill or top-up quantity, the number of machines and the required delivery date.
Choose packaging as separate commercial options. The AirCore request group includes 10 L or 20 L containers, 200 L or 208 L drums, and a nominal 1,000 L IBC option whose actual net fill must come from supplier data. Do not combine these capacities in one quantity. Record the preferred pack and count, delivery country and city or port, receiving site, currency and whether the request will be part of a mixed shipment.
Name every document needed before approval, such as the current TDS, SDS or a documented OEM approval for the actual offered formulation. Ask the quotation to show the confirmed product, pack, unit count, total quantity, currency, delivery scope, document availability and validity period. Compare each line with the original equipment register before acceptance or payment, and keep the approved quotation and document revisions with the maintenance record.
