Packaging determines how quantity is read, priced, and planned for freight. Record the product unit exactly as shown on the product page or packing data: pack size, drum, or another available format, then add the units per carton when cartons are used. Separate unit size, units per carton, and the number of cartons or units required. Record a drum as its own documented packing unit. For every line, add the product code, grade, destination, and required date, and rank acceptable pack alternatives by preference. Match the quotation to your list by name, grade, unit size, carton configuration, quantity, and destination. International freight planning uses actual weights and dimensions for pallets and containers, giving both parties a precise basis for comparison and approval.
